Help us to help others, and continue our work in the search and recovery of those lost in our inland lakes, rivers, and at sea.

Founded 25 years ago some of our equipment is ageing and in dire need of replacement so we can continue our work and help bring closure to the families affected by the lost of a loved one.

We rely on the generous donations from the public throughout the year via our street collections, bag packing, fund raising events, which have all be severely impacted by the affects of Covid-19.

Currently we are working hard to replace 3 of our longest serving rescue boats with a total cost of €70,978.34 including new engines.

The additional €9,021.66 is needed for the replacement of our divers full face mask and communications units so that we may continue assisting with underwater searches.

Killarney Water Rescue is an entirely voluntary based service and registered charity which operates 24/7, 365 days a year. We support many other clubs and services such as Kerry Mountain Rescue, Irish Underwater Search and Recovery Council, National Parks and Wildlife Service, and the Irish Coast Guard.  We are also a declared resource of Kerry County Council and An Garda Siochana.

Replacing this equipment will help us ensure our future survival and continue to serve the local community and emergency services.
